Why We Build Kraft Paper Embossing Machines
We developed kraft paper embossing machines to meet the rising demand for embossed kraft paper, a compostable packaging material gaining rapid popularity in the market. Embossing kraft paper increases its stiffness, making it ideal for use as a superior void-fill packaging solution. Today, embossed kraft paper is widely utilized to pack items such as CDs, porcelain, metal components, and even flowers. It’s also a key material for producing padded envelope mailers when processed with our padded mailer machines.
Machine Features & Performance
Our Kraft Paper Embossing Machine converts kraft paper rolls up to 1200mm wide into embossed rolls, which can then be slit into narrower, smaller-diameter rolls. Operating at a speed of 60 meters per minute, this machine ensures efficient production.
Beyond embossing, the machine also laminates kraft paper with a backing layer to create a stiffer wrapping material capable of absorbing greater impacts. The lamination process uses a simple starch and sodium hydroxide glue, and we provide the formula to our clients.
The machine utilizes steam heating to shape 3D paper bubbles, ensuring they retain their form permanently.
Installation & Implementation
The machine is user-friendly and can be set up in just one day. On-site installation services are available upon request.
Optional Modules
Optional features include a slitting unit and a cutting unit, enabling the embossed paper to be cut and rewound into retail-ready rolls for added versatility.
